What is a Moke?

An EV Moke is an electric low speed vehicle (EV) version of the iconic Moke, a small, open-top utility vehicle originally designed for military use. The Moke's history dates back to the 1950s when it was created as a lightweight, go-anywhere vehicle by the British Motor Corporation (BMC).

The Moke was initially as a military vehicle for the British Army. Its compact size, rugged design, and capability to be airlifted made it suitable for various military applications. However, the military interest in the Moke declined, leading BMC to shift its focus to civilian markets.

In recent years, with the growing interest in electric mobility and sustainable transportation, the EV Moke emerged as an environmentally friendly version of the classic Moke. The EV Moke retains the iconic design and charm of its predecessor but is powered entirely by electric batteries, making it emissions-free and contributing to a cleaner environment.

The EV Moke is often favored for urban commuting, short trips, and leisure rides, combining nostalgia with modern eco-consciousness. Its compact size and agility make it well-suited for navigating crowded city streets while also appealing to those seeking a unique and fun driving experience.

    Looking for a fun way and unique way to explore!? We got you! Half day Moke rentals are available in four hour rental slots. Choose a morning slot from 9am-1pm or a late afternoon slot from 4pm-8pm!

Features & Details

  • Our Moke’s are all street legal and can be driven on any street with a speed limit 35mph or less. The Moke will top out at about 25mph.

  • Our Moke’s are fully electric vehicles. They run for about 40 miles per charge. They take about 4-6 hours to fully charge and can be plugged into any standard wall outlet.

  • The Moke has a back-up camera, seatbelts, back-up alarm, and horn. The Moke also offers bluetooth connection, AM/FM radio and AUX connections.
